The 8 days Uganda safari takes you through a series of thrilling activities that every traveler would wish to have on any African safari. First visit the historical Jinja town and have the Nile River experience at its source. The white water rafting is another experience that one cannot miss while on this safari in Uganda.
Explore the Zziwa Rhino sanctuary as you proceed to the notable Murchison falls national park and have a sail on the Nile river and an amazing game drive to spot the lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, warthogs, hyenas, oribis and many other wildlife species.
Then it finally takes you to Kibale national park also referred to as the Primate capital of Africa famously known for its huge numbers of chimpanzees and the most strenuous chimp trekking experiences in Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to the Lodge in Entebbe
Arriving at the airport, you are received by a knowledgeable driver guide for a transfer to the lodge in Entebbe for a night stay. Be shown different en route attractions in Entebbe on the way to the hotel. Check in and have dinner waiting for tomorrow.

Day 2: Transfer to Jinja at the source of the Nile via ssezibwa falls
In the morning, after breakfast, be driven to the historical Jinja town in Eastern Uganda. The city that prides in harboring the source of the Nile and several waterfalls and dams like the Owen falls dam, Itanda falls and others.
On the way pass via Ssezibwa falls, probably the nearest falls to Kampala; Uganda’s capital and see these hidden falls in the forest. Something that could be difficult to believe yet it’s true is that this powerful fall originates from a wetland that was crossed by a hard rock causing the water to fall from high heights of the rock to its bottom forming the waterfall’
From here proceed to the source of the Nile in Jinja town. Have a boat ride to the exact point that John Speke spotted to declare this the source of the Nile, where the water of Lake Victoria separates from the Nile water that starts flowing unlike the Lake water that is stagnant. The experience is simply unimaginable.

Day 3: White water rafting and transfer to Kampala
In the morning, have breakfast, head to the office headquarters to be briefed about white water rafting, and then raft the Nile. This is one of, if not the best adventurous experiences that you will ever have in life. Sailing through the strong rapids that nearly turn the rafter upside down all just make the experience so wonderful.
In the afternoon, after spending hours of extreme intact with the Nile, transfer to Kampala capital city of Uganda for a night stay.

Day 4: Transfer to Murchison falls national park via Zziwa Rhino sanctuary
Early morning after breakfast, we shall head for Murchison falls national park popularly known for its varsity of wildlife species that dwell there. It is the largest park in Uganda and homes a total sum of over 70 different mammal species.
On the way pass by Zziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the white Rhinos. This is the very best place to go if you want to see rhinos on your Uganda safari. See the white rhinos up close on feet and spend some time with them as they are not dangerous animals if the instructions are followed.
Have lunch in Masindi town and continue to Murchison falls national park.

Day 5: Morning game drive and launch cruise at the Nile
Have breakfast and have a game drive around the park. You will spot different wildlife species ranging from lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, oribis, warthogs and many others. Have strenuous views of the beautiful landscape covered by savanna grassland.
After lunch, have an afternoon launch cruise at the Nile and see its banks covered with crocodiles, hippos and elephants. Also spot several bird species and clear views of the Murchison falls which is the most powerful waterfall in the world.

Day 6: Transfer to Kibale national park
Early morning, have breakfast and checkout. Transfer to Kibale national park. This being a long journey we shall set off in the morning, have a lunch stopover in Hoima town and proceed to Kibale. You will have beautiful sceneries of the western hills and nice photography back grounds. Pass through the Albertine escarpments on the way to Kibale.

Day 7: Chimp trekking and Bigodi community
Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about chimp trekking. Now start the trek I the forest to search for the habituated chimpanzees that call Kibale forest a home. Walk through the forest, coming across several tree species, other primate species like the colobus monkeys, baboons as well as the forest elephants.
The trek becomes more rewarding when you meet with the chimpanzees, the nearest cousins of the mountain gorillas. Watch them play with their colleagues, jumping from one branch to another all just makes the experience so amazing
Later in the afternoon after lunch, visit the Bigodi community, the nearest village to Kibale forest national park and explore the way of life of the people that dwell here. The women’s group in Bigodi does hand crafts and you can get unique souvenirs to carry home in remembrance of the Uganda tour.

Day 8: Departure
Early morning, have breakfast and then check out of the hotel and drive directly to the airport to catch up with your flight. That will be the end of your 8 adventure days in Uganda.
