This 3 days gorilla tour Rwanda will start and end at your preferred hotel. In this tour you will have a city tour in Kigali. One gorilla permit will be needed as you will have to visit the Volcanoes national park for the wounder full experience that one shouldn’t miss before leaving planet earth called gorilla trekking. Visit Dian Fossey for some history and you will be transferred back to your hotel or at the air port.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1:  City Tour and transfer to Volcanoes NP.
In the morning, you will be picked from your Hotel or airport by your tour guide and go for the city tour. You will visit the genocide memorial, local markets. Then, you will set off to Volcanoes NP, where you will reach early for Lunch at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. In the afternoon, go for nature walk to the twin lakes. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla view Lodge/Le bamboo gorilla lodge/Muhabura hotel.

Day 2:  Gorilla tracking and afternoon cultural walk.
After briefing from the senior park ranger you will commence your memorable gorilla trekking which normally takes 2 to 6 hours in the jungle. You will be allowed to stay in the presence of the gorillas for a maximum of 1 full hour. Later return to your Hotel for Relaxation. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk (Optional), where you will be entertained by the Banyarwanda community. Dinner and overnight (Day 1).

Day 3:  Dian Fossey hike and transfer back to Kigali.
In the morning, you will go to the park headquarters for briefing, and then descend the park and hike up to Dian Fossey graveyard. This is the former Karisoke research centre established by Dian Fossey, who was an American primatologist who dedicated hger life to concerving the life of the mountain gorillas, untilk she was killed and is buried there at the centre next to Digit, a mountain gorilla. On return, you will transfer to Kigali, reaching early for necessary shopping. You will then transfer to the airport for your departure or to your hotel.
