OVERVIEW
The 6 days trip will take you to Queen Elizabeth national park and Bwindi impenetrable forest national park. You will trek some of the amazing mountain gorillas in Bwindi. Note that almost three quarters of the world’s total population of the mountain gorillas, giving an extremely awesome gorilla experience in Africa’s prime home of gorillas.
You will also visit Queen Elizabeth national park, Uganda’s most visited park. Over 70 mammal species comfortably dwell here. Have a boat ride on Africa’s longest channel; Kazinga channel joining Lake George and Lake Edward.

DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1- Arrival at Entebbe airport
Meet our company driver guide, he will transfer to Hotel where you are o spend the overnight. Meanwhile he will be briefing you about the whole trip as he shows you around on the way to the lodge.

DAY 2- Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Enjoy a comfortable drive from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth, it’s approximately a six hour drive taking almost a full day.
The journey itself is an experience of its own on the trip. Have a stop at the equator line in Kayabwe and watch the water experiment that shows that water flows to different directions in the different hemispheres. Then proceed to Igongo cultural centre in Mbarara for a lunch stop over.
After lunch, continue directly to Queen Elizabeth national park enjoying the beautiful moments of viewing the extremely striking landscapes, some plain plateaus and others valleys rolled in Kigezi hills, tinted with the green vegetation. Also have wider and closer views of the Rwenzori Mountains of the moon

DAY 3 – Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Early morning after breakfast, embark on the safari vehicle for a morning game drive through the park. This expose you to a wide number of wildlife species like elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, warthogs, hyenas, leopards, lions, waterbucks, oribis, topis and many others. And just spotting them, but real upclose encounters in the jungle. You will also have spectacular views of the numerous craters and crater lakes rolled in the valleys of hills.
In the afternoon, having had a palatable lunch meal, have a relaxation with a boat ride on the Kazinga channel, probably the longest channel in the world joining Lake Edward and George, giving you striking views of the highest concentration of hippos in Africa, countless crocodiles and several sea bird species

DAY 4- Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
Drive through the Ishasha sector famous for its tree climbing lions. On a lucky day you will spot some of the lions lying in the tree branches of fig trees as you head to Bwindi. The journey also gives you awesome views of the Virunga mountain ranges as well as the Rwenzori Mountains of the moon.

DAY 5- Gorilla Tracking, Community Walk and Batwa experience
After an early breakfast head to the park headquarters for a simple briefing from the park ranger guide about the rules and regulations of gorilla trekking, be divided into groups of eight, the maximum number of people to visit a gorilla family in a day.
Start on the hunt of one of the gorilla groups in Bwindi, an experience so awesome that cannot be easily forgotten. Walking through the rugged terrains of the forest and following the gorillas is a challenging activity that takes you through the thick lush with slippery terrains. Trekkers might also encounter other different mammal species like the forest elephants and buffaloes, bird species and butterflies.
Trekking the mighty apes could take a day or even just one hour, it depends on your luck of the trekkers that day.
In the afternoon go for a cultural encounter with the Batwa people. See how the ancient forest people, also known as the first inhabitants of the forest used to hunt with a bow and arrow, learn how to make fire and cook locally. A taste of the local cuisines is a guarantee except to the one who doesn’t wish. Then return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6- Return to Kampala city / Entebbe airport for departure.
