Day 1: Arrival

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, be received by our experienced driver guide who will drive you to the lodge in Kampala city center; Uganda’s capital where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Kampala grand city tour

Early morning after breakfast, the drive guide will take you through the Kampala grand city tour. This is a city that never rests and the most engaging and outgoing city in east Africa. Visit the national museum, the Kasubi royal tombs of the Baganda kingdom, the old Gadhaffi mosque, Bahai temple, the biggest temple in East Africa and the only one of its kind in Africa. Go down to down town where the bustle and hassle of the struggling youth in Kampala starts from. The experience is simply amazing.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls national park

Today you will have an early breakfast and then depart for Murchison falls national park; the largest park in Uganda. The park encloses Murchison falls and hence its name.  This is the most powerful waterfall in Uganda on the Nile River. The park has beauty that is incomparable with over 75 different mammal species calling it a home. It offers awesome game drive experiences and the best launch cruises that expose travelers to huge numbers of the aquatic wildlife.

You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to have a chance to track these huge land mammals on foot. Have real close encounters with the Rhinos, an experience that is for a life time. From here you will proceed to Masindi town for lunch and then drive directly to the park.

Day 4: Morning game drive and a launch cruise at the Nile.

Having had a delicious breakfast, embark on the drive through the park. Murchison falls national park being the largest park offers awesome game drive experiences that expose travelers to countless chances of spotting various wildlife species. The park is a home to more than 75 mammal species and on a game drive, chances are that you spot 80% of the wildlife here. The elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, oribis, bushbucks, lions, leopards and many other species are guaranteed glances.

After lunch, cool off the warmth from the heavy breakfast on a launch cruise on Africa’s longest river, the Nile River. Have amazing views of the waterfalls, and banks evaded by numerous crocodiles, hippos and several sea bird species.

Day 5: Transfer to Kibale national park via Amabere ga nyina mwiru caves

In the morning after breakfast, embark on the journey to Kibale national park, the famous primate capital of Africa. You will have a stopover at Fort portal town; the once cleanest town in East Africa, have lunch and then proceed to Amabere ga nyina mwiru caves for a hike that will give you a stunning view of the town and the numerous crater lakes. From here, you will be driven directly to Kibale national park.

Day 6: Chimp trekking and Bigodi wetland

Early morning, definitely after your breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a simple briefing before you commence with your dream come true experience of Chimp trekking in this remarkable chimpanzee hub all over Africa. Walk through the beautiful lush encountering several tree species as identified by the guide, also meet other wildlife species like the forest elephants, and other primates like the colobus monkeys and baboons on your search for the closest apes to human beings.

In the afternoon after lunch you will visit the Bigodi wetland, a famous important birding spot. Here you will spot several primates and birds. You will come into close contact with even the smallest insights of nature.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Early morning you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park the medley of wonders. The journey will give you spectacular views of the Rwenzori mountains of the moon and Kigezi hills as well as the numerous craters and crate lakes that the park encloses.

Day 8: Morning game drive and Launch cruise at Kazinga Channel

Immediately after your delicious breakfast, embark on the vehicle and start on a magical game drive in the motherland of over 75 mammals species including the elephants, buffaloes, bush bucks, Uganda kobs, lions, warthogs, hyenas and many others all calling this park a home.

This game drive will also expose you to the various crater lakes enrolled in hills all giving a beautiful scenery that has not been spotted anywhere else but in Queen Elizabeth national park.

From the game drive you will have lunch and then go for a launch cruise at the Kazinga channel connect Lake Edward and George. Encounter with the huge hippos, elephants and a varsity of bird species all lining up at the banks of the channel. The experience is simply beautiful.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

Very early in the morning, you will start your journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park via the Ishasha sector, popularly known for her big numbers of the tree climbing lions that dwell here. Luckily, you could have yourself a chance to spot any in this area on your way to the gorilla haven of Africa. You will have an enroute lunch

Day 10: Gorilla trekking and the Batwa community

After your morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing and then start on your trek to hunt the endangered giants of the jungle; the mountain gorillas. Bwindi impenetrable national park is a home to over 400 mountain gorilla creating 90% chances of tourists in this park to encounter these humble guys of the forest. The walk through the thick forest in search of the gorillas is mostly rewarding when you finally encounter these great apes. Spend an hour with them and see the world through their eyes.

In the afternoon you will go to the Batwa community to experience their way of life. A taste of the local cuisine is a guarantee to everyone except the ones who don’t wish. Engage in the traditional songs and dance and also visit the traditional witch doctor of the community. Bwindi Impenetrable national park simply offers a full Uganda safari package.

Day 11: Transfer to Kigali in Rwanda

In the morning, have breakfast and then set off to Kigali town in Rwanda. On your way you will have a chance to have beautiful views of the Albertine Rift valley, Rwenzori Mountain the Virunga chain of volcanoes. You will also meet several local people, some from or to the markets or from the gardens, and some waving at you saying #bye muzungu” meaning bye white person. You will have an enroute lunch.

Day 12: Kigali city tour and departure

As soon as you are done with your breakfast, we shall start our city tour in Kigali. A trip that will expose you the Kigali genocide memorial site, National museum, craft centers and other amazing attractions in Kigali town.

In the afternoon, having had a delicious and heavy lunch, the driver guide will drop you at Kigali international airport to catch up with your flight back home.
