OVERVIEW
The 3 days trip will take you to Mt elgon park (Wanale Hill), sipi falls and Sabiny local community.
Mt Elgon Park is located in Eastern Uganda Mbale district, Wanale hills is one of the various hills bordering Mt Elgon Park; they give spectacular views of Wanale falls, and an aerial view of the local community villages. It should also be noted that Mbale is the home to the famous Gisu culture that have annual Imbalu or circumcision ceremonies.
Sipi falls is located in Kapchorwa district, this stunning beauty has water descending off a 100m ridge causing a roaring waterfall, at this location abseiling a recently introduced but exciting activity is done and it involves sloping off the cliff securely with a pulley as you take on the adrenaline packed experience.

DAY 1- Drive from Kampala to Mbale via Jinja
DAY 2- Hiking Wanale hills, visit of Wanale fall
DAY 3- Visit of sipi falls and drive back to Kampala
DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1-Transfer to Mbale with a stopover in Jinja
Early morning have breakfast at the hotel/ lodge after which you leave for Mbale via Jinja. Enroute visit the famous Sezibwa falls from the Sezibwa River which is believed to have been born by human beings. Visit of Mabira forest- griffin falls for zip lining later on, visit of the famous Bujagali falls and later on visit the source of River Nile and get a chance to see where the mighty River Nile (Longest River in Africa) starts its journey all the way to Mediterranean Sea.
Have lunch in Jinja town and after transfer to Mbale. This journey takes approximately 5 hours Drop off will be at your Hotel or lodge in Mbale for an overnight.
DAY 2- Hike of Wanale hill with spectacular views of Wanale falls, visit of local community villages
Early morning at the lodge you will have your breakfast, after which you will head for a hike to Wanale hill that will also lead you to Wanale falls, this activity takes approximately 6 hours.
The day will be ended by a visit to the community villages of Sabiny people where you will get to know more about their culture and their day to day life.
Overnight at the booked lodge.
DAY 3 – Nature guided walk to Sipi falls
Early morning at the lodge have breakfast and then head for a guided hike to the top of Sipi Falls. Here you’ll be able to explore stunning beauty as you take on the adrenaline packed Abseiling experience descending off a 100m ridge close to a roaring waterfall. After watching and hearing the falls, you will visit the caves, with possibility of a guided coffee safari and return to Kampala arriving late evening with drop off at your Hotel or at the airport for departure.
