This 7 days Uganda gorilla and wildlife safari will take you to visit 5 places. You will have to visit Kibale national park for chimpanzee tracking and other primates such as the golden monkeys, black and white colobus, vervet monkey, red-tailed monkeys and others. Visit the Bigodi swamp for a walk where you will have a chance to see the unique flora and fauna. Visit Queen Elizabeth national park for the big five game and other wildlife animals such as warthogs, giraffes, and others. Transfer to Kyambura Gorge for are second chimp trekking. You will also have to visit the Bwindi Impenetrable national park for gorilla trekking.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will bet by our company safari guide at your Hotel in Kampala and then drive you direct to Fort Portal town which is one of the best heritage sites of Uganda. The journey is very rewarding with scenic views of homesteads, tea plantations and the cultural sites of the Ankole Kingdom. You will have lunch en route and then reach the Park in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndali Safari Lodge/Primates Lodge/Kibale Safari Lodge/Chimp Nest Lodge/Chimpanzee guest house.

Day 2, Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to the park headquarters at Kanyachu for the chimp trek briefing. After this you will proceed into the forest for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest National Park. Kibale is well-known for harboring the largest number of primates. The search for chimpanzees in this forest may reward you with other primates such as the grey Mangabeys, pottos, colobus monkeys, bush babies, baboons and many more. Return back to the lodge for lunch after which you will go for a walk in Bigodi swamp. The swamp is characterized with unique flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight stay at Ndali Safari Lodge/Primates Lodge/Kibale Safari Lodge/Chimp Nest Lodge/Chimpanzee guest house.

Day 3, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will embark on the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey to the park. En route visit the crater regions and reach the Park by afternoon.  Upon arriving have lunch and then go for the launch cruise on the Kazinga Channel which is the spot with the largest concentration of Hippos in Africa as well as a number of bird species including migrant birds. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Camp/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge

Day 4, Game drive and chimpanzee tracking
After breakfast at your Lodge, you will set out for the morning game drive in the Kasenyi area to search for early risers and predators returning to their hideouts. Look out for different wildlife animals which the Park habits such as: Elephants, Lions, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Antelopes, and Warthogs and if you are Lucky, you can see the Leopards. Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon; you will go for the chimpanzee trek in the Kyambura Gorge. These close relatives of man will be searched for within the confines of a forested river gorge carved into the surroundings flat savannah. The chimp walk will also reward you with views of other primate species within the gorge area and also other animals which reside in the Park. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Simba Safari Camp/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge

Day 5, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi National Park via the Ishasha sector which is famously known for the rare tree climbing lions. Your drive in Ishasha sector will enable you encounter different wildlife animals such as Elephants, tree climbing lions, Buffaloes and so on. This will be a game drive en route before reaching Buhoma the Park headquarters of Bwindi. Dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort/Gorilla Forest Camp/Wagtail Eco Safari Camp/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 6, Gorilla trek in Bwindi Forest
Early morning, you will have breakfast and then report to the Park Ranger Station before 8:00am for a brief talk about the Gorillas and the tracking rules. This will be done by one of the ranger guides of the Station. After this, your rangers will lead you to track the endangered world giants also called the Mountain gorillas through the bush, undergrowth and parting thick creepers.  On your way to see the Gorillas, look out for other primate species like the Monkeys, baboons and a lot of bird species. Upon meeting the Gorillas, you can opt to sit around these great apes for a whole 1 hour gazing into their big round eyes as well as taking Photographs. You are reminded to take with you your packed lunch and mineral water since the gorilla trek time is unpredictable and it ranges from half an hour up to 8 hours depending on the movement of these primates. After tracking the gorillas, you will return back to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Mahogany Springs/Gorilla Resort/Gorilla Forest Camp/Wagtail Eco Safari Camp/Buhoma Community Bandas.

Day 7, Transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will depart for Kampala with a brief stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch. You will reach Kampala in the evening and drop off will be at your Hotel in the town.
