OVERVIEW
The 3 days trip will take you to Lake Mburo national park (whispers of the wild).
This is considered to be the nearest park from Kampala boasting a variety of wild flora and fauna. Expect to see topis, zebras, giraffes, impalas and various bird species on a game drive. You will also enjoy a cruise on the lake that will reward you with sightings on crocodiles, hippos birds like the king fishers, African fish eagle and so forth. Not forgetting an experience of the local cultures through community visits.

DAY 1- Transfer to Lake Mburo via with a stopover at the equator, evening game drive
DAY 2- Boat cruise and evening horseback ride
DAY 3- Morning game drive, cultural tour and drive back to Kampala.

DAY 1- Pickup by driver guide and drive towards Lake Mburo
With a stopover at the equator for water experiment and photos. Here you will get a chance to stand in two tropics at the same time! Drive to Lake Mburo; arrive in time for an evening game drive. Expect to see topis, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and various bird species. Transfer to booked lodge

DAY 2- Boat cruise and horseback ride
In the morning, you’ll embark on a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, expect to see hippos, crocodiles and endless bird species for instance pied kingfishers, African fish eagle, yellow weavers and so forth
In the evening embark on a 4 hours horse ride in the park! This gives you an opportunity to get a closer look at the jostles in the wild, the crespaculars and other various mammals.
Return to booked lodge for campfire, dinner and overnight.

DAY 3- Morning game drive, cultural tour and drive back to Kampala
In the morning you’ll have an early morning game drive in the park; this may reward you with sightings of various mammals, like giraffes, buffaloes and various bird species.
In the afternoon prepare for a visit to the local communities; expect to taste various local delicacies, stories about the Ankole and their famous long horned cattle. However, if time allows, a visit to Igongo cultural Centre and the monument site will add on your experience about the local culture and history.
