Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Airport Pick and Overnight in Ruhengeri
Arriva at Kanombe international airport and drive you to Ruhengeri by our company tour guide. Depending on your arrival time, you will have Kigali city tour where you will tour the genocide memorial sites, the national museum, the local markets , have lunch and drive to Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest lodge/Mountain Gorilla view lodge/ Muhabura hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking tracking in PNV
Have an early breakfast report to the Ruhengeri park headquarters as early as 7:00am. After a short drill as regards your expected gorilla tracking conduct is concerned, you will enter the rain forest in search of the mountain gorillas. It is advisable to carry along with you a packed lunch, energy bite, mineral water on this expedition because sometimes tracking can last very long from 1 -6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. On locating the gorillas, the experience is so exhilarating and will be well worth the trouble. Spend a maximum of one hour with the gorillas then return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Nest lodge/Mountain Gorilla view lodge/ Muhabura hotel.
Day 3, Transfer to Lake Kivu
After breakfast, transfer to Lake Kivu in western Rwanda. You will check in at the Hotel upon arrival, have lunch and after you will go for a fishing relation on the beach along side the lake. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Kivu Sun Hotel
Day 4, Launch Cruise and transfer back to Kigali/Departure
After breakfast, you will enjoy a morning boat ride on the lake. You will be able to see some water mammals and birds. After Lunch return to Kigali and prepare for your flight back home.
