Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival.
On arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative from Africa Adventure Safaris who will transfer you to Kampala for overnight at The Lodge/Landmark view hotel (Budget) or Cassia Lodge(Midrange)/ Serena Hotel(Luxury).
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National park,
In the morning, you will set off for Murchison falls national park, with en route optional visit to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Continue to the park after lunch in Masindi. You will visit the top of the falls for a breath taking view before transferring to Red Chilli Lodge (Budget)/ Sambiya River lodge (Mid range)/ Paraa safari Lodge(Luxury) for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon Boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls. Dinner And overnight stay (Day 2)
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest, a home to 13 primates species, dinner and overnight at CVK Hotel /Chimps nest Lodge (Budget)/ Mountains of the Moon (Mid Range)/Primates Lodge(Luxury)
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and afternoon nature walk to Bigodi swamps. Dinner and overnight (Day 4).
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. Dinner and overnight at Ihamba Lodge (budget/Mid range)/Mweya safari Lodge(Luxury).
Day 7: Morning game drive and afternoon nature walk in Maramagambo forest for view of birds, bat caves and variety of tree species. Dinner and overnight stay (day 6)
Day 8: Game drive through Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions; connect to Bwindi Impenetrable forest, dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp (Budget)/ Silverback Lodge (Mid range/Luxury).
Day 9: Gorilla tracking and afternoon Nature walk or Cultural walk to Batwa people (pygmies). Overnight stay (day 8).
Day 10: Transfer to Mgahinga National Park.
In the morning, have a scenic drive to Mgahinga national park, a home of golden monkeys and other primates. Dinner and overnight at Tourist hotel (budget)/ Travelers hotel (Mid Range/Luxury)
Day 11: Golden Monkey tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
In the morning, you will go for golden monkey tracking, where you will encounter other primate species. On return, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi where you will have dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages (Mid Range/Luxury)/Bunyonyi overland resort (Budget).
Day 12: Morning boat ride to visit different island and appreciate the beauty of the place, later drive back to Kampala via the beautiful town of Kabale, also known as the Switzerland of Africa , with en route lunch in Mbarara, and stop over at the equator for photography. Reach Kampala in the evening for dinner and overnight.(Day 1).
Day 13: Jinja City tour to visit the source of River Nile, Bujagali falls and Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest, tea and sugar estate. Return to Kampala for dinner and overnight.(Day 1).
Day 14: Kampala city tour.
We shall have a city tour in Kampala:- visit Kasubi Tombs, Art and crafts shops, local markets, the Uganda museum, Namugongo matrys shrine, Bahai temple, gadhaffi mosque, Namirembe cathedral, Lubaga cathedral, Kings palace among others. Dinner and overnight.(day 1)
Day 15: Departure.
On this day, depending on the departure time, you will be transferred to Entebbe where you will visit the botanical gardens, reptile farm, before transferring to the airport to check in for your departure flight.
